Steam and Source coming to Linux |
This is very interesting for those of use who use Linux & Windows both, it appears as though Valve is making their Source and games available Linux. Michael Larabel of Phoronix has been to Valve, spoke to Gabe and seen L4D2 running natively on Linux. Interesting times for Linux fans:
"Right now the game they have been working on the most for their Linux client is Left 4 Dead 2. Why L4D2? Basically because it is a stable code-base to do for their initial porting. They have plans to bring their other titles to Linux as well as lobby other game developers using Steam and the Source Engine to bring their games to Linux -- natively. They are not using the Wine library or anything in terms of their native Linux Steam/Source engine work."

Website Maintenance/Forum Rebuild |
Hello Everyone!
I want to apologize for the website being down for the past few days. We where working hard to solve the issue of having to login multiple times in order for you to actually log in, It was quiet rather annoying, but in the end we where able to fix it, along with adding a few additional features to the forums & Website...
The forums have been updated to version 1.2.23
Features Added
- Events Calendar
- Private Message System
- Image Gallery/Upload
- Chat Room See Forum Support Topic to learn how to use the Chatroom
- User Reputation System
Features Still to Be Added
- Attachment's Ability
- Member Avatar Gallery
- Member Ranks/Colors
- Player rankings/statistics
In the end. we hope that these new features make the forums and website easier to navigate and use. The downside to all of this? Well there is one, unfortunately everyone will need to re-register for the forums. Why? Because the old database was not comparable with the new forum system.
So we invite everyone to come back & re-register and we look forward to seeing you on the servers!
